To celebrate International Babywearing Week we are holding our annual sling walk through town on Sunday 13th October at 10am.
Come and join in the fun and help make babywearing more visible in Wellington.
The first 50 families to register on the day will receive a goodie bag filled with giveaways and vouchers! Check out the blog all this week for details.
Register on the day from 9:30am at Frank Kitts Park.
The walk will start at Frank Kitts Park at 10am, then walk past Te Papa, onto Courtenay Place and then up Cuba St to end at the Southern Cross.
We’ll be walking rain or shine. In the event of heavy rain, the meeting/registration point will be the entrance at Te Papa.
We’d love to see you all there with your child/ren and favourite carriers, and it would be great if you could spread the word around your friends and family. Everyone is welcome – you don’t need to have a ‘worn’ baby to attend, and the route is buggy-friendly. The idea is to get as many supporters of babywearing together as we can!
RSVP on our facebook event page or just turn up on the day!
